Eleven Little Tags for Eleven Little Tails
How do they consistently love their humans... forgiving us instantly, never tiring of our touch, our games or our smells - even the bad one... LOL!
How does a dog face each new day as if it were Christmas morning? They are so happy to help us wake up and start the new day!
Why do these little ones always want to be near their humans? Some nights, I have four little white dogs touching me as they sleep on the bed... or sleeping with a paw or a head on me.
I adore that... but do the little Westies snuggle that closely because THEY need that or because they sense that I need that?
These little rescued Westies and our four English Shepherds and our one rescued Siamese-mix cat bring such richness to our lives.
This week, eleven little blue name tags with individual names and contact information arrived to make things official. This is now the Forever Home for the five remaining puppy-mill Westies from this summer.
Rosalie, the cat, does not wear a collar. She is too regal and proud to wear the same "clothing" as the dogs! *grin*
The little clasp thing in the third photo makes changing collars a snap. They're called Tag Keepers, and I found them here.
This is a perfect size for the English Shepherds, but I wish I could find a smaller tag keeper for the Westies.
The jingle of the rabies tag and their name tags and the little heart charm make such a festive sound when the pack flocks in or out the door.
I found all their Christmas- themed collars here.
This blue flannel fabric with the little white dogs on it also arrived this week... an eBay find.
I MUST find more of this fabric! If you see any of it, please let me know.
A little more work to do on porcelain before I can catch some sleep. You are probably burning the midnight oil as well, this close to Christmas!

I love following the tale of your wonderful little rescue-Westies! I get a lump in my throat every time I read about the experiences of these sweet little creatures. We have two dogs and two cats and know how much they have enriched our lives...I can only imagine what 11 can do! The best of the season to you and your family! Mary Ann

How very cute! I was wondering what had happened to all the little rescues since you didn't seem to be in a hurry to find them new homes. :-) Congratulations on your quintuplets!
