Two Winners instead of one

Mary Lynn suggested "Nest" for the all-encompassing name for our den-turned-bedroom-sewing area-computer area, etc...

Bonnie suggested La Casita, Spanish for "little house". That is true, Bonnie, our living quarters are kinda like a Little House within the farmhouse.

So, a question: What are the nuances between casita and casa? I'm guessing casita connotes the rose covered cottage or cozy beach cottage?

I wish I could have given something to every one who shared their thoughts on naming our quarters.
