(This is a post I started A LONG time ago and then forgot. The picture ideas are too pretty NOT yo post. I still have not settled on a good way to organize my laces, so please share your ideas!)
This post is full of other people's methods for organizing their trims. I browse photos online. I save pretty photos that I like in a folder on a particular topic, and over time, I decide which method of organization will work for me.
A
(These are either old rulers or those wooden paint stirring sticks from the paint store, dontcha think?)
Will that organization method grow with me? Will it be easy to keep organized? Will the lace/trim/ribbon stay put when I wind it around the "bobbin"?
Enjoy the Eye Candy photos. If you know the photographer of a particular photo, please let me know so that I can give proper attribution. All of these photos are copyrighted to the person who took the photo.
WHERE have my grandmother's trim stash gone? She sewed for decades. She made the cutest little dresses for me and other grandchildren and cousins. She used the most adorable ribbons or lace or trims. SOMEWHERE there should be a stash of little pieces of decades of trims.
She and I loved ric rack. There should be boxes of ric rack left-overs. I cannot find them...YET.
